The Gathering Weekend 2026

This year, BCY are delighted to be partnering with CYM (Ipswich) and the Church of England to host The Gathering Weekend — an exciting residential at Vauxhall Farm for young people in school years 7–13.

We’ll have a great mix of outdoor activities, talks from the Bible, seminars, great food, and loads of fun!

➡ Dates: 24th – 26th April 2026
Arrival: Friday, 6pm
Departure: Sunday, 2pm

➡ Location:
Vauxhall Farm, Great Wenham, Colchester, CO7 6FJ

➡ Cost: £110 per young person
(An additional £1.50 booking fee applies when using the online Ticket Tailor system.)

➡ Group Bookings: Group bookings are available and are managed with CYM Ipswich. Youth leaders are very welcome to bring their young people.
One leader goes free for every 10 young people booked. Additional leaders can attend at a cost of £65 per person.

➡ What will we be doing?
Vauxhall Farm has some fantastic facilities available. Activities include archery, low ropes, zip wire, laser tag, and several water-based activities, to name just a few! It’s a fun and safe environment to try new things, all supported by qualified instructors. There is also a sports barn and a games room.

We’ll also have times of band-led worship, plus a special campfire worship session on Saturday evening. In addition, there will be a great choice of seminar streams to choose from, and all meals are provided on Saturday and Sunday.

➡ How many spaces?
The weekend has capacity for 100 young people. Some will be sleeping in on-site lodges, and if these fill up, others will be camping on site. We can help with sourcing tents if needed, though we may ask you to bring camping equipment if you have it available.

➡ The Gathering:
The Gathering is a termly youth worship night in Ipswich, organised in partnership with CYM Ipswich and youth leaders from across the Ipswich area. Part of this weekend will include The Gathering on Friday night, where some young people will attend but not stay for the full weekend.

We are thrilled to welcome Tim Alford from Limitless Festival on Friday evening. Tim is a brilliant communicator and will be delivering a Gospel talk.
